If your website didn’t load properly and looks like the picture to the right you, or the image is low quality or not your logo will need to ask your web designer to fix a couple of things on your website. The best place to test if your website is compatible with websites like ours, Facebook, LinkedIn etc is at HeyMeta to see how it should look try typing benosey.com in the box.
WEB CHECK
Visit this page and add your website address, it will tell you that you need to fix your Meta Title, Meta Description and Meta Image (OG / open graph Files) this is what we use to fetch your logo, and a brief description of your website. When you ask your developer to fix this, make sure they use a high quality image of your logo, best size that Facebook recommends is 1200×630 pixels.
TOP TIP
Write a nice title for your webpage and a description, Google loves this when they search the web, it’s amazing how many web designers get this wrong! The better the Title the better chance you have of being found. eg: a meta title with ‘Home’ is terrible, a meta title with: ‘Emergency Plumber in Hertfordshire, Free Call Out, Boiler Breakdown’ is a far better title for your website Your website’s “name”. While it should be a bit descriptive, try to limit it at 50 characters and has keywords Google is looking for. Now do the same for your Description, a short summary to get people an idea of what to expect when visiting your website. Try to limit it at 100 characters.
EDIT
When you see the preview of your post, before you click Post, you can edit the text by clicking on it. Once submitted you cannot delete it so be sure to check it though.
RULES
Only share the same post once a day, the system will blacklist you if you post too many, or are abusive, posting offensive material etc.
